Relocation and upgrade of a plant producing and packaging sauces
The project and its challenges
The client wanted to relocate their plant to reduce variable costs associated with the site. The project required the rebuilding of all support infrastructures and upgrading of all the equipment. The entire packaging line had to be modified to handle new formats from the arrival of the containers to their packaging. As these sauces were to be exported, they had to meet the most stringent health standards.

The proposed solution
Respecting the supply chain
The packaging line includes 280 recipes and supplies 1000 jars per minute with several SKUs, feeding two standardised packaging lines for five different formats of glass and plastic jars. As these sauces were to be exported, GFSI standards (for international export) had to be respected.
The results
- A continuous supply chain;
- Respect of GFSI food standards (international standards);
- Upgrade of some unit operations.
