2022: A year of transformation for Seneca
Hello,
Twenty-five years ago, I founded Seneca with my colleagues Raymond Simoneau, Benoît Couture and [name to be added]. Today, I would like to take a moment to mark the end of this year, because I couldn’t imagine anything better than what 2022 had in store for us to celebrate this 25th anniversary. Indeed, this year will be remembered as a landmark year for Seneca, punctuated by an acquisition, my arrival as President and CEO, a new management team and the launch of several major projects. I would like to thank and congratulate the entire team and our clients for this exceptional year. I have no doubt that 2023 will be of the same magnitude.
Thank you for your precious trust.
Dominique Morin
CEO
An exceptional year in a nutshell:
- Seneca celebrates 25 years. 25 years of transforming procedures, ways of working with industries and, by extension, the society.
- Dominique Morin, founding partner, becomes President and CEO of Seneca.
- The company strengthens its executive committee with seven appointments.
- Seneca acquires engineering consulting firm Johnston-Vermette. An alliance of talented teams for the realization of large-scale projects.
- Lithion, which Seneca helped create, reached new heights in 2022 by securing financing for the construction of its first commercial battery dismantling and reprocessing plant and hosting U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, among others. A source of pride for the team!
- Seneca is involved in the creation of enim and its small footprint process that transforms obsolete electronic equipment into usable resources through a local, ecological and circular economy approach. Great developments to come in 2023!
