Reporting to the Supervisor of the electrical team, you will carry out projects in an industrial environment and will assume the following responsibilities:
- Prepare project cost estimates
- Design single-line drawings
- Select cables, power equipment, transformers, substations, low and medium voltage electrical switchgear;
- Conduct coordination and protection studies;
- Design grounding systems
- Perform arcing exposure studies;
- Perform electrical disturbance studies (harmonic and flicker);
- Write the scope of electrical work, plans and specifications;
- Participate in the commissioning of electrical equipment.
Skills and requirements
- Holds a university degree in electrical engineering;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Experience in autonomous power generation plants based on generators;
- Knowledge in the choice of protective equipment;
- Experience in consulting engineering and operating plants (an asset);
- Certificate of ASP Construction;
- Bilingualism (French-English) both oral and written;
- Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to adapt, rigor and sense of organization;
- Excellent team player and good communicator;
- Mobile and available to move.
